One Room Challenge Is Almost Here

The One Room Challenge starts tomorrow, and I can’t wait! Every fall and spring, twenty featured designers and hundreds of guest participants tackle a room redo in just five weeks and blog about it from start to finish. This challenge is put on by Linda of Calling It Home and House Beautiful. I’ve always enjoyed reading along and watching the transformations, and in honor of the upcoming event, I’m sharing some of my favorites from past seasons.

The ladies of J&J Design Group share my love of color, and what’s not to love about this gorgeous living and dining room they completed in the spring?! Seriously, it checks ALL of my design loving boxes… Colorful, bright, cheerful, glam, layered, textured. I could go on and on. When I first saw this room, I immediately texted a friend and said it might be my favorite room ever. Ok, enough raving. Here it is, in all its glory!

I wasn’t familiar with Abby Manchesky Interiors before the One Room Challenge, but now that I’ve seen her work, I’m definitely a fan! The work she did on her kitchen and dining area is incredible. I love her well edited use of color!

We all know I’m a color lover, but if anything could make me go neutral, it’s this gorgeous living room by Jacquelyn Clark of Lark & Linen. So clean and crisp and glam. Love!!

Melissa of Polished Habitat was a guest blogger for the Spring 2017 One Room Challenge, and she knocked her functional and fabulous office design out of the park. I love how bright it is, and of course the pink!

How much do you love this amazing wallpaper that Jennifer from Decor Gold Designs used in her guest bedroom? And that chandelier… So gorgeous!

Another bedroom makeover I fell in love with is Christine’s from Amidst the Chaos. I love the color scheme she chose, and those furry euro shams make me want to curl up in this bed with a good book (I know, that would be weird, since it’s not my bedroom, so I won’t).

The windows and doors containing this office by Ashley Bell Interiors are a dream, but the finishing touches, like the black and white curtains and chairs, make it truly beautiful.

No One Room Challenge lineup would be complete without a nursery reveal, and this colorful boho girl’s room by Stephanie of Casa Watkins Living just stole my heart. This eclectic color scheme could have seemed chaotic, but it was so well executed that it comes off as cheerful, yet polished. Any little girl would love a room like this!

Finally, this one goes back a few seasons, but Kristin Jackson of Hunted Interior is one of my favorite bloggers, and how amazing is this bedroom she designed for a client? The art, those curtains, the calming color palette… Perfection!

Which room is your favorite? Can you believe all of the gorgeousness that comes out of the One Room Challenge?
