Glam decor really hit its stride in the 1930’s with the golden age of Hollywood, when it became known as Hollywood Regency. This style remains popular today, and it plays well with a variety of other interior design styles. This week we’re talking Tropical Glam interior design style.

Tropical Glam

Tropical Glam interior design style is characterized by a mix of modern and traditional furniture elements, Palm Beach inspired bright colors, gilded details, and luxurious fabrics. Free use of tropical themed patterns and prints such as pineapples, flamingoes, and palm prints is prevalent throughout tropical glam interior designs. Bamboo, wicker, and rattan are popular for furniture, especially if they are lacquered in white or turquoise.
