I’ve worked on some fun projects lately and wanted to share one of my recent favorites, a Preppy Boho Glam Bedroom eDesign. This design is colorful, mostly preppy, with a splash of boho. Of course it’s also stamped with my signature style, glam.

Design Plan
When I begin any project, the first step is to have the client pin 15-20 inspiration images to a shared secret Pinterest board. I love the direction she went in, with the bold preppy patterns and a few boho touches pulled in. There is a clear love of blue, and since blue and pink play so nicely together, we chose those two colors as the primary color scheme for this glam bedroom eDesign.
The gorgeous Thibaut Bimini Ikat wallpaper in blue and white was the jumping off point for the entire design. I love how it’s both sophisticated and bold, but also has a slightly boho feel… Perfect for this preppy boho bedroom!
I knew a pink velvet bed would be the perfect complement to the blue wallpapered accent wall, and I found the perfect one at American Signature Furniture. Unfortunately it is now out of stock, but a similar bed can be found here.
I knew I needed a rug that would tie everything together, and the Caitlin Wilson Kismet rug is one of my all time favorites, and the colors worked perfectly!

Mood Board
Once the major pieces were decided, I left the nightstands and dresser neutral, to keep the room from feeling too busy. I brought in some unique pillows off etsy that are in keeping with the color scheme, but bring a touch of boho to the room. The bamboo mirrors also add to that feel. I personally love a mix of styles and feel it adds more visual interest to a space.
The art and accessories were the final touches, and after trying a few different options for art in this glam bedroom eDesign, we settled on some great prints from etsy. I love the way this room came together! Maybe I need to find a room in my own home to implement this same color scheme.

After we confirmed the final design plan, I put together the room render, giving a complete visual of what the space will look like when complete.
